ScribbleMonster is Overthrowing the World

ScribbleMonster has been invited to play as part of the Chicago run of the International Pop Overthrow music festival, 2007. International Pop Overthrow (IPO) is the largest showcase of power-pop music in the United States and brings in powerpop bands from all over the world to highlight what is new in the world of powerpop music. . . . The Chicago festival will feature 130 bands over 16 days (April 13 to April 28th) and ScribbleMonster will be the one children's band in the lot of 'em. The band is scheduled to be part of an afternoon show on the last day at the Abbey and our set will feature the live debut of "Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child" among other high-energy ScribbleTunes yet to be determined. It should pop in a powerful way.
