Make the hike to Boston
Saturday, September 16, will be the Boston Globe Children's Book Festival, running from 10:50 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. There are all sorts of neat activities during the day, but what caught my eye is Roger Day closing out the day at 4:00.
Unfortunately, Roger is flying in that morning so we can't get him on the show, but he is sending us some CDs to give away this week. They'll be open to both local and online listeners, but you'll have to listen to find out how to win them. It'll relate to reading.

thanks for the information about the book festival-- it would be a fantastic excuse to drive down to Boston! (Elliot has wanted to visit ever since we first read 'Make Way for Ducklings.') great show this weekend, BTW- am listening right now! (short attention span, that's me!)
