WOXY.com, among the greatest radio stations I've heard online or live, is going off the air.

The station was originally terrestrial and was one of the first (and best) "modern rock" stations. A couple of years ago, it was purchased and the staff went internet-only. After trying a couple of business models, including being listener-supported, it looks like time and money has run out.

Sigh.
