Happy Thanksgiving!
We will be on live this Saturday from 8 to 10. Should be a fun show.
And not this Saturday, but the next (I think that's December 4 or so) we'll be playing all of the kids in Ella's first-grade class at the Smith College Campus School reading their poetry, and I can honestly say that it's great stuff. We're hoping to have more area kids participating in the show, so if you have some ideas along those lines, drop us a line (show AT sparetherock DOT com).
Finally, we also have a new promo featuring our new timeslot; hear it
here, featuring some new show promo materials we got from Bzots.
Have a great holiday!

Hooray for the Telephone Company
It has been pointed out that if you haven't watched the
Telephone Company's video for
Mustache (featured recently on our show), you haven't lived.
That may be overstating things, but still: go watch it. It is indeed outstanding, and if you've lived in Austin you'll find yourself saying, "Hey! I know that place!" a lot.
Rainbow, Rainy Days, and Ben Rudnick
We had a ton of fun hanging out with
Ben Rudnick and his friends Bruce and Arnie on Saturday. We'll be playing our talk with them and four terrific tracks they recorded for us on Saturday. Here are some pictures to tide you over.

Arnie the bass player
EllaRemember -- this week is our first week in the shiny new 8 to 10 timeslot! And for those of you who were hoping to get one of those old collectors' edition t-shirts, we regret to inform you that we've updated the design to reflect the new timeslot. But you should still feel free to
buy one, markup-free. A sample:

New and Improved and Less Painfully Early Timeslot!
Starting this week, the show will be on from 8 to 10 am, rather than 6 to 8. Quick! Go buy a shirt in the shop, since the ones listing the 6-8 timeslot will no doubt be invaluable collectors editions, certain to make you a fortune!*
We're guessing more people will be awake for an 8 to 10 timeslot than the 6 to 8 slot, and hopefully we'll be a little perkier too...

Hey, ScribbleFolks
Thanks to
ScribbleMonster to linking to our little show.
Welcome to those of you coming here from that link; make yourself at home (in some odd metaphorical sense) and let us know what you think!
As we mentioned on the air on Saturday, we
may be changing to a slightly less crazy early timeslot -- 8-10 AM on Saturdays. You'll hear it here first. If, you know, we remember to post it.
Have a great week.
