Playlist and Archive Link for 10/15/2005

We're off to upstate New York this weekend for the sheep and wool festival. So we recorded the show on Thursday afternoon. I think it's better when we do it live -- maybe we feel less self-conscious about dancing in the studio when nobody else is around -- but it was still a fun show. Playlist below, archive copy here.

Comments:
Oh my goodness, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!

I am a stay at home mom of a 1-year-old and just discovered podcasting. Up until now, I did not think there were any fun kids podcasts out there that wouldn't drive me crazy. But I love your show, and so does my son(in fact, just took a break from typing this to dance with him in the family room to A Mover La Colita) What awesome music! You got yourself a subscriber here, and I can now tell my friends I'm not ashamed to listen to kids' music!

P.S. Just looked through your achived playlists and saw you play Mitch Friedman's Purple Burt!

YOU...ARE...AWESOME!!!

Thanks for coming by and for the note, LaShawn! This is the sort of thing we just love to hear. We keep getting new and interesting stuff in the mail, so keep listening and come back and let us know what you like. (And send us a note -- show AT sparetherock DOT com -- with any requests.)
